Questions about EEOICPA care?

The Nevada Test Site is now known as the Nevada National Security Site. Here are a few things to know as you explore your care options.

What is EEOICPA?

EEOICPA stands for the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act. The U.S. Department of Labor administers the program through its Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC).

The program provides benefits to eligible workers with qualifying occupational illnesses associated with covered employment. Eligibility depends on individual employment, illness, and program requirements. Working at the Nevada Test Site alone does not establish eligibility.

Can I call if my claim is pending or I do not have a white card?

Yes. Contact us to discuss your care needs and available options. EEOICPA coverage cannot be assumed while a claim or condition is pending; coverage and payment arrangements need to be clarified before care.

Can NuThera help with medical documentation?

Our clinicians can evaluate your health concerns and document clinical findings, diagnoses, and functional limitations. DOL determines claim eligibility and acceptance.

Can I receive ongoing care after my claim is accepted?

Contact us about ongoing medical care, physical therapy, and follow-up. The services available depend on your clinical needs, accepted conditions, and applicable coverage and authorization requirements.

Where can I get help applying for benefits or resolving a claim question?

The DOL Las Vegas Resource Center offers free assistance with applications, forms, medical-benefit questions, and other program matters. Call (702) 697-0841 or (866) 697-0841.
