Website Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2023
Last updated: July 9, 2026

This policy covers our website. For information about how we handle protected health information (PHI) in a clinical setting under HIPAA, see our Notice of Privacy Practices.

About this notice

This Website Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Vegas Visiting Physicians Associates DBA NuThera operating as NuThera(“NuThera,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information gathered through https://nuthera.us. It is provided in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes 603A.340. This Policy does not cover information you provide during a clinical encounter — that is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA (45 CFR 164.520).

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you use our website, you may choose to provide us with:

  • Contact and appointment information— name, phone number, email address, preferred appointment time and location, the nature of your visit (e.g., federal workers’ comp, personal injury, primary care), and any additional notes you choose to include in a message or form.
  • Employment / claim information — if you tell us you are a federal employee, an OWCP or DEEOIC claimant, or a personal-injury patient, this may include your agency, position, and general details about your injury or condition.
  • Communications— the content of any messages you send us through the site’s contact form, email links, or callback requests.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information from your device, including:

  • Device and browser data — IP address (in truncated form for privacy), device type, browser type and version, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, referring URL, pages you came from and went to, time spent on each page, clicks, scroll depth, and general navigation patterns.
  • Approximate geolocation — derived from your IP address (typically at the city or region level, not precise).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — small files placed on your device to remember preferences and measure site usage. You may control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your appointment requests, questions, and messages.
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about your appointments.
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our website and services.
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve content and navigation.
  • Protect the security and integrity of our website.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your website-collected information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not use it to sell advertising against your identity.

How we share your information

We share information with the following categories of third parties, and only for the limited purposes described below:

  • Technology and hosting vendors — companies that provide website hosting, deployment infrastructure, and content delivery (currently Vercel Inc. for hosting and CDN).
  • Analytics providers — Google Analytics 4, configured with IP anonymization enabled, Google Signals disabled, and advertising personalization disabled. Analytics data is used solely to understand site usage in aggregate.
  • Communication providers — email, telephone, and SMS providers used to respond to your inquiries.
  • Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and compliance advisors, subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Government agencies and legal recipients — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or in response to a lawful government request.
  • Successors — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections described in this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information as defined by Nevada law (NRS 603A.340). We do not authorize any third-party service used on our site to sell your information either.

Third-party tracking across websites

Nevada law requires us to disclose whether third parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you visit our site. The primary third party currently active on nuthera.us is Google Analytics 4. We have configured Google Analytics with our strongest available privacy settings: IP addresses are anonymized before storage, Google Signals is disabled, and advertising personalization features are turned off. Even with these settings, Google may use technical cookies to distinguish individual visitors across sessions on our site. We do not use any advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social-media conversion pixels on this website.

Your choices and rights

Review and correction

Under NRS 603A.340, you have the right to review the information we have collected from you through the website and to request corrections. Submit a written request using the contact information at the end of this Policy. We will respond within 60 days (with a possible 30-day extension for complex requests) and require reasonable verification of your identity before acting on the request.

Opt out of sale

As stated above, we do not sell personal information collected through our website. If our practice changes, we will update this Policy and provide a Nevada-compliant opt-out mechanism at that time.

Cookie controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may cause some parts of the site to function unexpectedly. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics tracking: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to the sites you visit. There is no consistent industry interpretation of DNT signals. Our site does not currently respond differently based on DNT signals; however, because we do not run advertising trackers, retargeting, or third-party behavioral profiling, the practical effect for visitors sending DNT signals is limited.

Data retention

We retain website-collected information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, and to resolve disputes. Aggregated and de-identified analytics data may be retained longer for historical trend analysis.

Data security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect information collected through the website, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all traffic, restricted access to website-collected data, and vendor selection based on security posture. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children under 13

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our site, please contact us using the information below and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. We may also notify you through other means (e.g., a banner on the site) if the changes materially affect how we collect or use your information. Your continued use of the website after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
