Find an OWCP doctor in Southern Nevada

Looking for an OWCP doctor near you?

NuThera has two OWCP-enrolled clinics in Southern Nevada — one in Las Vegas (Rainbow / Spring Valley) and one in North Las Vegas (Aliante). We treat federal workers from across the region with same-week appointments and full DOL documentation. No referral needed.

Pick whichever is closest to you.

Both clinics are OWCP-enrolled, accept the full range of DOL programs (FECA, DEEOIC, DCMWC), and share the same clinical team and chart system — your records follow you between locations.

Where is the closest OWCP doctor in Las Vegas?

NuThera has two OWCP-enrolled clinics in Southern Nevada. Our Rainbow Blvd location at 5495 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 202 serves the west side, Spring Valley, Summerlin, and southern Las Vegas. Our Aliante location at 3880 W. Ann Rd., Suite 130 serves North Las Vegas, Aliante, and Centennial Hills. Both locations accept federal workers' compensation patients and offer same-week appointments. Call (725) 726-7914 to schedule.

Do I need a referral to see an OWCP doctor in Nevada?

No. Under FECA, federal employees with OWCP claims have the right to choose their own treating physician — no referral required. You can call NuThera directly to schedule an evaluation. Bring your OWCP claim number (if you have one), photo ID, and any prior medical records related to your work injury.

Is NuThera accepting new OWCP patients?

Yes. Both NuThera locations are actively accepting new OWCP and DOL patients, including federal workers with active claims, denied claims under appeal, and workers filing initial CA-1 or CA-2 claims. Same-week appointments are typically available.

What if I don't have a claim number yet?

That's fine — many federal workers come to us for the initial evaluation that supports the CA-1 or CA-2 filing. We'll document your injury, complete the required CA-16 / CA-20 forms, and help you understand the next steps in the OWCP process. You don't need an existing claim number to be seen.

Do you accept federal workers from outside Las Vegas?

Yes. While our two clinics are located in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas, we treat federal workers from across Southern Nevada — Henderson, Boulder City, Summerlin, Aliante, Mesquite, and Pahrump are all within our service area. For DOL-eligible workers traveling longer distances (e.g., from Indian Springs or Beatty for Nevada Test Site DEEOIC cases), we coordinate visit schedules to minimize trips.

What's the difference between an OWCP doctor and a regular doctor?

An OWCP-enrolled provider is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor and authorized to treat federal workers' compensation claims. We bill OWCP directly, write causation narratives that meet federal evidentiary standards, complete the specific DOL forms (CA-1, CA-2, CA-16, CA-17, CA-20), and coordinate with claims examiners and nurse case managers. A regular primary care doctor may not be enrolled with OWCP and may not produce documentation that supports your claim.

How quickly can I be seen?

Same-week appointments are typical. For urgent injuries that just occurred (within 24–72 hours), call us — we make every effort to see acute cases within 1–2 business days because timely documentation is critical for a successful CA-1 filing.
