Ashley Suarez

Ashley Suarez is an Emergency Medicine–trained Physician Assistant and co-founder of NuThera, operating at the intersection of clinical care, compliance, and outpatient practice operations. She co-founded NuThera to deliver coordinated, compassionate care for injured federal employees, veterans, and patients navigating complex injury claims and recovery processes.

Ashley began her career at Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a Surgical ICU Physician Assistant on the renal transplant unit, managing high-acuity, post-transplant patients in complex critical care. She transitioned to emergency medicine in Las Vegas — serving in emergency departments for more than five years with TeamHealth (2017–2018) and Vituity (2018–2022) — and later worked as a Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine PA at Mayo Clinic during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2020, she has also served as an Acute Care PA Reservist with BCFS Health & Human Services, responding to hurricane relief and disaster operations in underserved communities.

At NuThera, Ashley oversees clinical and operational execution across a multidisciplinary outpatient practice — including governance, staffing models, workflows, EMR optimization, and regulatory compliance. She serves as Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Touro University Nevada's Physician Assistant Program, teaching physical examinations, suturing, and procedural techniques within NuThera's clinical setting. She also serves as Southern Nevada Director at Large on the board of the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, and founded a nonprofit organization supporting women in healthcare leadership and entrepreneurship.
