Joshua Stevens, PT, DPT

Joshua Stevens is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy who treats orthopedic and work-related injuries at NuThera. He earned his DPT from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

His clinical training centered on the injury patterns that drive federal workers’ compensation claims. At Concentra in Las Vegas he trained in a high-volume occupational and orthopedic clinic, working alongside physicians, case managers, and employers to build return-to-work plans — the same coordination an OWCP claim depends on. He also completed rotations in skilled nursing and rehabilitation at Coronado Ridge in Henderson and in outpatient orthopedics at ATI Physical Therapy in Austin, Texas.

That range — acute outpatient orthopedics through post-acute rehabilitation — shapes how he approaches recovery: measurable functional goals, progressive loading, and documentation specific enough to support a patient’s work status. He is licensed by the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy.
